This is one client's story. Every head is different.
Some clients come to us because of age or family history. This client came to us after surgery on his scalp. A large area at the top was left without hair.
His doctor checked his skin first and was happy for us to use adhesive on it. We also did a small skin test before the first fitting.
What we did
- Matching appointment. We chose the colour and the shape.
- The fitting. We cleaned the skin, applied the adhesive, placed the system, then cut it in and blended it so it sits like his own hair.
- The refit, about three weeks later. A system needs a refit every few weeks. We cleaned, re-applied and checked it again.
